Bring Forth Much Fruit (John 15:5)

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Jesus is calling us to thrive by bringing forth much fruit in His name. Yet to do so we must bring Him into every area of our life, we must remember continuously that without Him we can do nothing that is of any lasting value. When we live in this continual fellowship with the Lord, we will indeed be the branches showing forth all of the marvelous fruits of salvation.

Abide In Him (John 15:3)

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

As we mediate on the Word of God and what it says about us in Christ, old strongholds are broken, worldly beliefs and perceptions are dissolved, and we become more fully receptive to all that God is seeking to do in and through our lives.
