Speak Peace (Luke 10:5)

And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house. And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.

Luke 10:5-6 (KJV)

Let us speak peace over our home, over our workplace, and over any other environments we may come into contact with. The more we are willing to bring the peace of God into our day to day world, the more will we ourselves be at peace independent of any circumstances and conditions.

As representatives of Christ we are being called to be representatives of His peace. And so it becomes all the more crucial for us to meditate daily on God’s Word and to take time every day to consciously abide in His presence, for it is in His presence and through His Word in our hearts that He fills us with His peace. Then as we move into our day, let us speak peace over our home, over our workplace, and over any other environments we may come into contact with. The more we practice this, the more will we find ourselves at peace independent of circumstances and conditions. And, in fact, God may now use us to bring peace into the affairs of day to day life.
