Super-Abundant Grace (1 Timothy 1:14)

And the grace (unmerited favor and blessing) of our Lord [actually] flowed out superabundantly and beyond measure for me, accompanied by faith and love that are [to be realized] in Christ Jesus.

1 Timothy 1:14 (AMP)

When we receive a revelation of God’s grace as His unmerited favor and blessing being made available to us superabundantly, our faith increases as a result as we come to recognize and embrace His indescribable love for us. Now, rather than working and performing to try to get God to bless us, we find ourselves resting in His love and in His finished works. And out from this place of rest we move ever more fully towards the manifestation of His promises in our lives.

The Evidence Of Belief Is Rest (Hebrews 4:3)

For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

Hebrews 4:3 (KJV)

We know we are truly believing God’s promises in a certain area of life when we have a sense of peace independent of circumstances and conditions. In Jesus we have access to the works that have been finished from the foundation of the world, which means everything we need is available in Him. The more we meditate on this, the more we will find rest in it.

A Heart At Peace (Exodus 14 :14)

The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

Exodus 14:14 (KJV)

God fights our battles for us when we are at peace. The more we can simply rest in Him and trust in His Word, the more will peace overtake us regardless of any circumstances or conditions. And a heart at peace is a heart that is receptive and available to God’s promises of victory in every area of life.

Casting Our Care Upon The Lord (1 Peter 5:6-7)

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

1 Peter 5:6-7 (KJV)

Casting our care upon the Lord is an act of humility. Humbling ourselves under His mighty hand means that we surrender even the smallest details of our life to the One who cares for us. Today, dare to cast all your cares, worries and concerns upon Him, and rest in His grace. It is from this place of resting in Him that the mighty hand of God will lead us, comfort us, deliver us, strengthen us, and ultimately, exalt us.
