Confident To Rest (Psalm 116:7)

Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.

Psalm 116:7 (KJV)

Our soul returns to its rest when we are confident that God is handling everything that concerns us. We rest in our confidence that God has already made available what we need, and out of this quiet assurance will we see His goodness showing up in our lives. God works when we are at a place of peace.

Pray With Confidence (1 John 5:14)

This is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us.

1 John 5:14 (KJV)

The will of God is revealed through the Word of God. And so let us approach our heavenly Father with the confidence that as we pray according to His will, it is His good pleasure to give us the kingdom. God is withholding no good thing from us, and He is looking for each of us to be instruments and vessels through which His glory may manifest on earth as it is in heaven.

God Supplies Our Need For Faith (Mark 9:23-24)

Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”

Mark 9:23-24 (NKJV)

Our faith, as all things, is not our own, but a gift from God. Anytime unbelief tries to sneak in, let us be quick to turn to the Lord with a sincere and honest heart; let us be reminded of what His Word has declared over us, and be strengthened in His presence. God supplies our every need, and this includes our need for faith.
