Agree With The Word (Proverbs 30:5)

Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

Proverbs 30:5 (KJV)

Putting our trust in God means trusting in His Word. Each day we get to choose to either agree with the word of man or with the Word of God. Let us be sure to agree with what God’s Word declares about us in Christ, and we will see as it proves itself to be true in our lives.

Perfect Peace (Isaiah 26:3)

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Isaiah 26:3 (KJV)

Perfect peace is the kind of peace that cannot be shaken by circumstances and conditions. This is the kind of peace that comes from knowing whose we are and whom we have believed. Today, keep your mind stayed on Jesus; trust Him, and let His perfect peace fill every fiber of your being.

Wisdom And Revelation (Ephesians 1:17-18)

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

Ephesians 1:17-18 (KJV)

May we always seek God for wisdom and revelation. Let us never get too familiar with the things of God, for we serve a God who is continually looking to take us to new places in our walk with Him. The more we have a revelation of the riches and glory of what Jesus has made available to us, the more will we rejoice in what the Apostle Paul called the hope of His calling.

No Longer Our Own (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

What? know yet not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own. For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (KJV)

When we gave our lives to Jesus, His Holy Spirit took up residence within us. This means God’s presence and power now dwells in us. And so let us live every day knowing that we belong to the Lord, that we have been bought with a price, thereby opening ourselves to the life of victory and service to the kingdom that God has called us to live.

Bring Forth Much Fruit (John 15:5)

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

John 15:5 (KJV)

Jesus is calling us to thrive by bringing forth much fruit in His name. Yet to do so we must bring Him into every area of our life, we must remember continuously that without Him we can do nothing that is of any lasting value. When we live in this continual fellowship with the Lord, we will indeed be the branches showing forth all of the marvelous fruits of salvation.

The Father’s Good Pleasure (Luke 12:32)

Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Luke 12:32 (KJV)

God is not reluctant when it comes to supplying our needs. In fact, it is His good pleasure to give the kingdom to His children. And so when we approach our Father, let us do so with boldness and confidence. Rather than being fearful, let us rejoice in faith; we may be certain that we will see God showing up mightily in our lives.

Confident To Rest (Psalm 116:7)

Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.

Psalm 116:7 (KJV)

Our soul returns to its rest when we are confident that God is handling everything that concerns us. We rest in our confidence that God has already made available what we need, and out of this quiet assurance will we see His goodness showing up in our lives. God works when we are at a place of peace.

From Glory To Glory (2 Corinthians 5:18)

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

2 Corinthians 5:18 (NKJV)

The more we behold Jesus, the more are we transformed into His image and likeness. As we seek His will in all of the areas of our life, we will find ourselves being led from glory to glory through the wisdom and counsel of the Holy Spirit.

Overflowing With His Goodness (Ephesians 3:19)

And to know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Ephesians 3:19 (KJV)

Being filled with all the fullness of God is to know His love in and through Christ Jesus. This surpasses intellectual knowledge and must be known in the heart. When it sinks into our hearts just how much He loves us, our lives cannot help but overflow with His goodness.
