Speak Pleasant Words (Proverbs 16:24)

Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.

Proverbs 16:24 (KJV)

The words we speak impact both the mental and emotional state of our soul as well as the condition of our physical body. Considering this powerful principle, let us purpose to speak pleasant words only. Let us say what God says about us, and declare His Word over our lives. We will most certainly see the benefits.

Vessels Of God’s Glory (John 11:4)

When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.

John 11:4 (KJV)

It is the will of our heavenly Father that His glory be made manifest in and through His people. And so whether it be sickness, lack, anxiety, or anything else, God wants to use our challenge to manifest His glory in us. This means healing, deliverance, provision, soundness and protection.

Pray With Confidence (1 John 5:14)

This is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us.

1 John 5:14 (KJV)

The will of God is revealed through the Word of God. And so let us approach our heavenly Father with the confidence that as we pray according to His will, it is His good pleasure to give us the kingdom. God is withholding no good thing from us, and He is looking for each of us to be instruments and vessels through which His glory may manifest on earth as it is in heaven.

He Healed Them All (Matthew 12:15)

But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;

Matthew 12:15 (KJV)

The Bible tells us that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. What He did two thousand years ago He is still doing today, and this includes physical healing. God does not use sickness to try and teach us lessons, but much rather is He the one who heals us. We receive physical healing in they same way we receive anything else from the Lord: by faith. This means we stand on the Word that says we are right now healed with His stripes regardless of how it looks or feels, and we continue in faith until the manifestation shows up.

Be Anxious For Nothing (Philippians 4:6)

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

Philippians 4:6 (NKJV)

It takes a daily training of the mind to rid ourselves from the unproductive habit of worry, and instead take our needs and requests to God in simple and childlike faith. And so whatever need may arise, let us receive by faith the supply, the deliverance or the healing that God by His grace has already set before us.

Guard Your Heart (Proverbs 4:23)

Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life.

Proverbs 4:23 (AMP)

Nothing is more important for us than to guard our hearts, for what is going on in our life can ultimately be traced back to what’s in our hearts. Guarding the heart means we do not allow anything to rob us of the peace that has come to us as a result of our meditating the Word and believing the promises of scripture. We keep our hearts fixed on Jesus no matter what.

Jesus Gives Us Rest (Matthew 11:28)

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Matthew 11:28 (KJV)

Jesus gives us rest because He is our sufficiency, and through His finished works we have full and complete access to the boundless riches and beauties of the kingdom of God. And so whatever your need may be today, be sure to take it to the Lord, fellowship with Him, and thank Him that in Him your need is met. Faith gives us access to all that the grace of God has already made available.

Faith Accesses What Grace Has Provided (Romans 5:2)

By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Romans 5:2 (KJV)

Grace is the revelation that God has made available anything we will ever need through the finished works of Jesus. Faith is how we access what grace has provided. And so let us embrace by faith that our needs are met, and that the solution to every challenge has been provided. When we believe this and live out from it, we will see the evidence of it manifest in our life.

Forget Not All His Benefits (Psalm 103:2-4)

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

Psalm 103:2-4 (KJV)

The benefits of salvation include healing, redemption from all forms of destruction—physically, emotionally and spiritually—as well as total and complete access to every promise of scripture. As we meditate on and confess this truth daily, thereby reminding our soul, we are making way for God’s goodness and glory to manifest in and through our lives.
