The Rock Of Our Salvation And Our Strength (Psalm 62:5-7)

My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.

Psalm 62:5-7 (KJV)

When we place all our trust and expectation in the goodness and faithfulness of our God, we will not be disappointed. While God often works through other people, let us remember always that He alone is the rock of our salvation and our strength.

The Victory Of Faith (1 John 5:4)

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

1 John 5:4 (KJV)

The key to living a life of victory is our faith. We use and develop our faith by setting our hearts and minds upon the promises of God, by meditating on them and confessing them until they become real to us. When we are convinced of the reality of something before we can perceive it through our physical senses, we are living in the victory of faith.

Grace Builds Us Up (Acts 20:32)

And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

Acts 20:32 (KJV)

Grace will always build us up. Religion tends to be about what we must do in order to earn favor with God, whereas grace is all about what Jesus has already done for us. Each day our practice therefore must be to remind ourselves, to confess, and to thank God that He has already made available anything we might need. As we remember our identity in Christ—that we have been made righteous in Him—we open ourselves to receiving the inheritance grace has already provided.

Casting Our Care Upon The Lord (1 Peter 5:6-7)

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

1 Peter 5:6-7 (KJV)

Casting our care upon the Lord is an act of humility. Humbling ourselves under His mighty hand means that we surrender even the smallest details of our life to the One who cares for us. Today, dare to cast all your cares, worries and concerns upon Him, and rest in His grace. It is from this place of resting in Him that the mighty hand of God will lead us, comfort us, deliver us, strengthen us, and ultimately, exalt us.

Grace And Peace Multiplied (2 Peter 1:2)

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

2 Peter 1:2 (KJV)

The knowledge of God and the finished works of Jesus yields in an increase of grace and peace. The more we meditate on the truth that Jesus has done everything He needed to do to give us full and complete access to the riches and blessings of the kingdom, the greater becomes our peace in Him. This dissolves anxiety and feelings of doubt and unbelief, and we start to expect to see the manifestations of His goodness in our life.

Grace And Peace Be Multiplied (2 Peter 1:2)

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

2 Peter 1:2 (KJV)

The knowledge of God and the finished works of Jesus yields in an increase of grace and peace. The more we meditate on the truth that Jesus has done everything He needed to do to make us righteous and to give us full and complete access to the blessings of the kingdom, the greater becomes our peace in Him. This dissolves anxiety and feelings of doubt and unbelief, and we start to expect to see the manifestations of His goodness in our life.

A Wellspring Of Life (Isaiah 58:11)

And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

Isaiah 58:11 (KJV)

There is a continual wellspring of life available to us as we keep our eyes on Jesus, realizing that He alone is our strength, our source, our comforter, and our provider. When we daily fellowship with God in the Spirit, and let His Word fill our hearts, we will find ourselves equipped and empowered to not only handle all that we are called to do, but we will also be a spring of life through which the light of Christ can flow into our world.

Bold And Confident Faith (Mark 10:52)

And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

Mark 10:52 (KJV)

Faith is what enables God’s glory to be made manifest in our lives. While the grace of God through the finished works of Jesus has already made available anything we need, it is our faith that takes possession of it. And so when we approach God, let us do so with boldness and confidence, knowing in our hearts that our Father is ready to freely provide all that is needed. There are no limits to those who will approach God with bold and confident faith.

Partakers Of Christ (Hebrews 3:14)

For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end;

Hebrews 3:14 (KJV)

We are made partakers of Christ by seeing the glory of God made manifest in and through our lives. God is wanting to shower us with His goodness. The key to seeing this come to pass is to hold on to our faith no matter what; in other words, we believe and keep believing with our hearts and confessing with our mouths that we are now living in the victory that Jesus has won for us. And so today, let us be steadfast in our confidence of seeing God’s goodness and favor in our lives.
