Walk By Faith (2 Corinthians 5:7)

For we walk by faith [we regulate our lives and conduct ourselves by our conviction or belief respecting man’s relationship to God and divine things, with trust and holy fervor; thus we walk] not by sight or appearance.

2 Corinthians 5:7 (AMP)

Walking by faith and not by sight means we are not walking according to appearances. No matter what it looks like or feels like, we maintain our trust and confidence in God and in His unmerited favor towards us in Christ Jesus. We hold fast to our conviction and confession that right now we already have what we are believing for!

Speak God’s Word (Proverbs 16:24)

Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.

Proverbs 16:24 (KJV)

The words which we speak can either be pleasant to our soul and bring health to our physical bodies, or similarly our words can bring about sorrow and even sickness. One of the most important things for us to do is to take charge over the words that we speak. Let us be in the habit of speaking God’s Word over our lives, over the people we encounter, and over situations and circumstances. God’s Word will always bring joy to our souls, and He always confirms His Word with signs and manifestations following.

Proverbs 16:24 (KJV)

All throughout scripture we see the enormous power that lies in our words. The words which we speak can either be pleasant to our soul and bring health to our physical bodies, or similarly our words can bring about sorrow and even sickness. One of the most important things for us to do is to take charge over the words that we speak every day. Friends, let us be sure that our words are in alignment with the Word of God. Let us be in the habbit of speaking God’s Word over our lives, over the people we encounter, and over situations and circunstances.
