Trust God In The Storm (Psalm 107:29-30)

He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still. Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them into their desired haven.

Psalm 107:29-30 (KJV)

When we trust God in the midst of the storms of life, He will always bring us to a place of peace and calm. And when we are at a place of peace God works mighty miracles in our lives. He will bring us into our desired haven.

Agree With The Word (Proverbs 30:5)

Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

Proverbs 30:5 (KJV)

Putting our trust in God means trusting in His Word. Each day we get to choose to either agree with the word of man or with the Word of God. Let us be sure to agree with what God’s Word declares about us in Christ, and we will see as it proves itself to be true in our lives.

God Is Our Saftey And Protection (Psalm 91:1-2)

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

Psalm 91:1-2 (KJV)

God is telling us we need not live in fear and uncertainty, but that in all things we may trust and rely upon Him for our safety and protection. Dwelling in the secret place of the most High means that we keep our hearts set on Him, communing with the Lord in the innermost depths of our being. And it is out of this abiding in Him that we then confess and declare our trust in His continual guidance and provision. Let us be assured that as we live in this way, peace will fill our hearts independent of circumstances and conditions, and we will find ourselves living with a boldness and confidence that the world cannot give us.

The Purity Of God’s Word (Proverbs 30:5)

Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

Proverbs 30:5 (KJV)

When we put our trust in God, we will be guided, protected, shielded, comforted, and empowered to fulfill all He is calling us to do. Trusting God means we trust in His Word. Each day we get to choose to either get into agreement with the word of man or with the Word of God. Let us be sure to agree with what God’s Word declares about us in Christ, and we will see how pure the Word is as it proves itself to be true in our lives.
