Rejoice In The Lord (Philippians 4:4)

Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, gladden yourselves in Him]; again I say, Rejoice!

Philippians 4:4 (AMP)

What a blessing to know that we can continually delight ourselves in the Lord regardless of any circumstances and conditions! When we delight and gladden ourselves in Him, we consider His tremendous love for us. We allow this love to become a reality in our hearts, to take us over and saturate us as we meditate on His unmerited favor and the promises of victory we have in Him. This causes us to truly rejoice; and as a result, we are in a state of expecting to see His goodness and His favor showing up in our lives.

Walking In His Presence (Psalm 16:11)

Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Psalm 16:11 (KJV)

When we look to Jesus and faithfully walk with Him, He will lead us up the path of life. We discover in His presence a joy that cannot be taken away by the world, we will find the pleasures that come from knowing who we are in Him and what He has called us to do.

Humility Leads To Greatness (Matthew 18:4)

Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 18:4 (KJV)

Humility flows out of total and complete dependence upon God, and submitting fully to the authority of His Word. Jesus is telling us that this childlike humility leads to greatness in the kingdom of heaven. And so the more that we can humble ourselves by keeping Jesus at the center, the more will we find favor and good success in the various arenas of life.

Expect The Benefits Of Salvation (Psalm 68:19)

Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

Psalm 68:19 (KJV)

We can expect to be loaded with the benefits of salvation every single day. In Christ God’s unmerited favor has been made available to us, and so we can always live in confident expectation that something good is going to happen to us regardless of any circumstances or conditions. The benefits of salvation include healing, deliverance, peace of mind and heart, and all of our needs being supplied in abundance.

Receive The Word Into Good Ground (Mark 4:20)

And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

Mark 4:20 (KJV)

When the seed of the Word is sown into the good and receptive ground of our hearts, we cannot help but produce fruit in our lives. As we bring forth fruit through the Word working in us, our lives become a radiant demonstration of the goodness, the glory and the unmerited favor of God.

Overflowing With His Goodness (Ephesians 3:19)

And to know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Ephesians 3:19 (KJV)

Being filled with all the fullness of God is to know His love in and through Christ Jesus. This surpasses intellectual knowledge and must be known in the heart. When it sinks into our hearts just how much He loves us, our lives cannot help but overflow with His goodness.

Look To The Shepherd (Psalm 23:1)

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

Psalm 23:1 (KJV)

The more we look to Jesus, rely on Him and depend upon Him, we shall not have any wants. The reason is that He meets our every need, and He fulfills the very desires He places in our hearts. Each victory in our life comes as the result of our relationship and our fellowship with Him.

Start The Day Right (Psalm 5:3)

My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

Psalm 5:3 (KJV)

How we start our day will usually determine how it will go. When we make it our practice to turn to God first thing in the morning, when we set aside quiet time for prayer, reading and meditating the Word, we tend to find ourselves living in a greater sense of His presence all throughout the day. And so let us start the day right, seeking God’s will and direction, and reflecting upon what His Word has declared over us.

A Wellspring Of Life (Isaiah 58:11)

And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

Isaiah 58:11 (KJV)

There is a continual wellspring of life available to us as we keep our eyes on Jesus, realizing that He alone is our strength, our source, our comforter, and our provider. When we daily fellowship with God in the Spirit, and let His Word fill our hearts, we will find ourselves equipped and empowered to not only handle all that we are called to do, but we will also be a spring of life through which the light of Christ can flow into our world.

Show Forth His Salvation (Psalm 96:2)

Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.

Psalm 96:2 (KJV)

Praise and worship are ways of showing forth God’s salvation. Showing forth His salvation means to stand upon the truth that the victory has already been won and the enemy has already been defeated. This celebrant attitude puts us in place of being expectant of seeing God’s favor and blessings in our life.
