Let Patience Have Its Perfect Work (James 1:3-4)

Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

James 1:3-4 (KJV)

When authentic faith is tested it produces patience. Patience is enduring and persistent faith, and it is a sign of trust. It means we trust God, and we do not doubt that He will bring about what He has promised. This allows us to be at peace even when we have yet to see the evidence of what we are believing for. Allowing patience to have its perfect work matures us in our walk with God, and in so doing it actually enables the manifestation of the very thing we are believing for.
