When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.
John 11:4 (KJV)
A profound truth is revealed in the words of Jesus, that sickness—or any other form of hardship—is not unto death, but it is to become a means whereby which the glory of God may be made manifest for all to see. God’s glory is never revealed separate and apart from His people. It is the will of our heavenly Father that His glory be made manifest in and through His people, that we be the instruments and vessels of His glory. And so whether it be sickness, lack, anxiety, or anything else, God wants to use our challenge to manifest His glory. This means healing, deliverance, provision, soundness and protection.
